In 2002 I moved to the Island of Oahu, Hawaii. It is there that I discovered surfing and was forever changed. It is a spectacular feeling to ride water. As soon as you think you may have it mastered, you are tossed around helplessly by the power of the ocean. As your head breaks the foamy surface and you grasp for air, It is in this moment that you are truly humbled by the sea. HUMBLESURFER was born in these moments. I am not HUMBLESURFER. It is a philosophy that I try to carry out in all aspects of life.
Before surfing I would draw and sketch quite often. It was Hawaii, the ocean, and surfing that inspired me to take a simple drawing and expand.
I now live on the beautiful Gulf Coast in Mobile, Al
